Diagnosis
Whether the tooth needs a crown at all — sometimes a well-made filling or onlay keeps more tooth and costs less.
Preparation and scan
The tooth is shaped and scanned, and a temporary crown fitted the same day so you leave with a normal-looking tooth.
Fit
The laboratory crown is tried in, checked against your bite and neighbouring teeth, and cemented once we are both happy with it.

How long do crowns last?
Typically ten to fifteen years, often longer with good hygiene. What usually fails is the tooth underneath rather than the crown itself, which is why reviews matter.
What material is best?

Is a bridge or an implant better?
An implant leaves the neighbouring teeth untouched, so it is usually first choice. A bridge is quicker and can be the better answer when those teeth already need crowning.
