Who it suits
Whitening is often the cheapest, least invasive change with the biggest effect — and it should almost always come before bonding or veneers, because neither of those lightens afterwards.

How treatment works
Whitening is only safe on healthy teeth and gums. Decay, gum inflammation and exposed roots are found and dealt with first — this is the step that shop kits skip.
Custom trays are made from impressions of your own teeth, so gel sits on the tooth rather than leaking onto the gum. Ill-fitting trays are the main cause of sensitivity.
Usually two to three weeks at home, worn at night or for short daytime sessions. You control the pace, and we adjust if teeth become sensitive.
A shade check against your starting photographs, plus top-up gel so you can maintain the result yourself for years rather than repeating the whole course.

Common questions
Whitening is quoted as a complete course — assessment, custom trays, gel and the review — rather than per visit. Our fees are published on the fees page and confirmed in writing before you commit.
Professional whitening supervised by a dentist is one of the most studied cosmetic treatments there is. In the UK it is legal only when prescribed by a dentist — salon and beauty-bar whitening at higher concentrations is not.
Some people get short-lived sensitivity. Well-fitting trays, a lower-strength gel and spacing out the nights almost always solve it, and it settles once you stop.
No. Anything artificial stays the shade it was made. That is why we whiten first, then match any new bonding, crowns or veneers to your lighter natural shade.
