Dentures, answered honestly
How long does it take to get used to a denture?
A few weeks for speech and eating to feel normal, and expect one or two adjustment appointments in that time. That is routine, not a sign anything is wrong.
Can implants hold my denture?
Yes — often two to four implants are enough to lock a lower denture in place, which is the single biggest improvement most denture wearers can make.
Will people be able to tell?
Well-made dentures are not obvious. Tooth shade, shape and gum colour are all chosen to suit your face and age rather than off a chart.
