How much does Invisalign cost in the UK?

In the UK, a short Invisalign case correcting mild crowding typically sits around £2,000 to £3,000, while a comprehensive case runs roughly £3,500 to £5,500. These are market ranges rather than our fees — our own pricing is on the fees page — but they give you a fair yardstick for any quote.

Why the range is so wide

The fee follows the number of aligners and the length of the plan, which follow the complexity of your bite. Six months of minor alignment and eighteen months of bite correction are different treatments that happen to use the same brand of plastic.

This is why no honest practice can quote you over the phone. Records — a scan, photographs and x-rays — come first, and the price follows the plan.

What should be inside the quote

• All aligners, including a reasonable number of refinements
• Attachments and their removal at the end
• Every review appointment for the duration of treatment
• Retainers at the end — fixed and removable, or at least clarity on which is included
• Any whitening bundled into the package

Two questions worth asking anywhere

First: is the quote for the whole treatment, or does the fee change if the case needs more aligners than expected? Second: what happens at the end — are retainers included, and what do replacements cost? Retention is lifelong, so the end of treatment is where the honest costs live.
