Emergency dentistry, answered honestly
What counts as a dental emergency?
Pain you cannot control with painkillers, facial swelling, trauma, uncontrolled bleeding, or a broken tooth that is cutting your tongue. Swelling that is spreading needs same-day care.
What do I do with a knocked-out adult tooth?
Hold it by the crown, not the root, rinse it in milk if it is dirty, put it back in the socket if you can and bite on a clean cloth. If not, keep it in milk and call us immediately — time matters.
Will I be charged more for an emergency appointment?
There is a set fee for an urgent appointment, and you will be told what it is when you book. Any treatment beyond that is quoted before it starts.
