Who it suits
White marks can relate to early decay, fluorosis, enamel development or changes after braces. Examination identifies the likely cause and whether monitoring, remineralisation, whitening, ICON or restoration fits best.

How treatment works
We assess the surface, history, activity and depth and check whether the tooth needs preventive care first.
Whitening may be discussed before infiltration where the overall tooth colour also needs adjustment.
The surface is prepared and a low-viscosity resin is drawn into the porous enamel, then cured and polished.
The result is assessed after hydration returns and further treatment is considered only if proportionate.
Fees
The published guide fee is per tooth. Suitability and likely limits are discussed before treatment because results vary with the cause and depth of the mark.

Why choose us
We distinguish active disease from a stable appearance concern before recommending infiltration.
Suitable lesions can be treated without preparing the tooth for a veneer or filling.
The likely degree of blending and alternatives are discussed because some deep marks remain visible.

Common questions
ICON treatment starts from £295 per tooth. The number of teeth and whether whitening or preventive care is advised first are confirmed after assessment.
No. It can reduce the contrast of suitable porous enamel lesions, but deeper developmental marks may improve only partly or need another restorative approach.
Resin infiltration is designed as a minimally invasive treatment and generally does not involve conventional drilling. The surface is conditioned so resin can enter the lesion.
Sometimes. Whitening can change the surrounding tooth shade and may be sequenced first. This depends on your colour goal, sensitivity and the type of white mark.
