Who it suits
Teeth can move after any orthodontic treatment. We assess current alignment, existing retainers and gum health before replacing or changing an appliance.

How treatment works
We assess whether the teeth are stable, have moved or need further orthodontic advice before a new retainer is made.
Fixed and removable options are compared for cleaning, reliability, comfort and your previous treatment.
A digital record captures the current tooth position and the retainer is made to that fit.
You receive a wear schedule and advice on cleaning, storage, breakage and when replacement is needed.
Fees
The approved fee is per arch. If teeth have already moved, assessment may show that a new retainer alone is not appropriate.

Why choose us
A new retainer should hold a suitable position, not force teeth without an orthodontic plan.
Cleaning, compliance, repairs and long-term replacement are discussed before you choose.
You leave knowing when to wear it, how to care for it and what change should prompt a review.

Common questions
A fixed or removable retainer is £350 per arch. An assessment confirms whether the teeth are stable enough for a replacement retainer.
Retention is normally long term because teeth can continue to move throughout life. The wear schedule depends on the appliance and your orthodontic history.
Each has trade-offs. Fixed retainers do not rely on remembering nightly wear but need careful cleaning and checks; removable retainers are easier to clean but only work when worn.
Do not force a painful or clearly distorted appliance. Arrange an assessment to establish whether it has changed or the teeth have moved.
